Shenzhen authorities have permanently closed several self-media accounts for violating regulations related to virtual currency activities. The Shenzhen Branch of the People's Bank of China, along with other regulatory bodies, conducted a special rectification campaign targeting accounts that promoted illegal virtual currency financial activities. Accounts such as "USDT Merchant Exchange Group" and "Band Together to Play with Virtual Currencies" were found to be providing marketing and promotional information to domestic users, inducing participation in unlawful activities. These actions were taken in accordance with the "Notice on Further Preventing and Dealing with Risks Related to Virtual Currencies."
