Shanghai has released its "Artificial Intelligence Standard System Construction Guide (2026-2028)", aiming to enhance its role in AI standardization. By 2028, the city plans to lead or participate in over 3 international standards, more than 10 national standards, and over 20 industry standards, with a national standards participation rate exceeding 50%. The initiative also includes creating standardized technical organizations and pilot projects, with a goal of achieving an 80% implementation rate for key standards. This effort seeks to establish Shanghai as an AI "standard highland" with global influence.
