Sei (SEI) is emerging as a formidable competitor to Monad (MON) in the blockchain space, thanks to its advanced technology and strong institutional backing. Sei boasts enterprise-grade features such as sub-400ms finality, a capacity of 100 MGas/s, and a Twin-Turbo consensus system, achieving a transaction per second (TPS) rate of 12,500, surpassing Monad's 10,000 TPS. Additionally, Sei's network fees are significantly lower, up to three times cheaper than those of Monad. The recent introduction of 'Sei Giga,' a new architecture featuring multiple concurrent block proposers, aims to enhance blockchain performance and mitigate MEV (Miner Extractable Value) issues. This technological edge has attracted interest from major institutional players, including BlackRock and Apollo. Furthermore, a Staked SEI ETF is set to launch, already listed on the DTCC pre-launch list, underscoring Sei's growing appeal in the institutional investment community.
