Sei Network has announced a partnership with Xiaomi to pre-install the Sei Mobile App on all new Xiaomi smartphones worldwide, excluding the U.S. and mainland China. This strategic move aims to enhance stablecoin accessibility by providing users with a crypto wallet that supports stablecoin payments and personal finance tools. The Sei Mobile App will be available to Xiaomi's 680 million users, facilitating access to over 20,000 retail locations. The rollout will initially target markets in Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. The app is designed to simplify the onboarding process for new crypto users by eliminating the need for setup, thereby promoting everyday use of cryptocurrencies.
