The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has begun reviewing an application from NYSE Arca for a hybrid ETF that includes both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The proposed ETF by Bitwise aims to allocate assets based on the market value of the two cryptocurrencies, with the current distribution being approximately 83% Bitcoin and 17% Ethereum. This review marks another step in the ongoing efforts to introduce cryptocurrency-based financial products to the market.
