The attack involved manipulating the sDOLA price through flash loans and donations, which increased the exchange rate from 1.189 DOLA to 1.353 DOLA. This price shift led to the health factors of several accounts in the crvUSD Controller dropping below zero, triggering liquidations. The attacker's contract acted as the liquidator, claiming rewards, exchanging them, repaying the flash loan, and securing a profit.
