SC Ventures, the investment and fintech arm of Standard Chartered Bank, has made a strategic investment in crypto market maker GSR, marking its first external strategic shareholder since GSR's inception in 2013. The investment amount remains undisclosed. This move follows the collaboration established between the two firms last month, where GSR invested in Libeara, a tokenization platform supported by SC Ventures, as part of its strategy to expand in the crypto capital markets sector.
