SBI Holdings, a major Japanese financial group, announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026, revealing a 10.9% increase in crypto asset revenue to ¥89.615 billion. The company attributed this growth to fluctuations in crypto asset prices, while profits remained stable compared to the previous year. Additionally, SBI's "next-generation business," which includes Web3 initiatives, saw an 83.2% revenue increase to ¥56.182 billion. Overall, SBI Holdings reported total revenue of ¥1.896607 trillion and a pre-tax profit of ¥516.667 billion. The company also disclosed that it has submitted a letter of intent to acquire the operator of bitbank as a subsidiary and is negotiating a capital business partnership.
