SBI Global Asset Management has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing ¥10 trillion ($66 billion) in assets under management as of October 28, 2025, five months ahead of its fiscal-year target. This growth was primarily fueled by index and thematic funds, notably the SBI V S&P 500 Index Fund. In a strategic move, SBI has invested $200 million in Evernorth Holdings, a U.S. firm supported by Ripple. Evernorth plans to acquire over $1 billion in XRP, aiming to establish the largest institutional XRP treasury. Following its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp II in Q1 2026, Evernorth expects to manage over 560 million XRP. SBI's future plans include doubling its AUM to ¥20 trillion by March 2028, focusing on digital innovation and strategic expansion.
