At the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, Saudi Arabia announced a series of initiatives, including hosting the first Global Coral Reef Summit and a $1.2 billion plan to expand AI infrastructure. The summit aims to address policy gaps and financing for coral reef protection, while the AI initiative will support up to 250 MW of hyperscale data center capacity.
