Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy announced the full restoration of the East-West pipeline and associated energy facilities, following recent Iranian attacks that had significantly reduced throughput. The pipeline is now operating at its full capacity of approximately 7 million barrels per day. Additionally, production at the Manifa field has recovered its lost volume of about 300,000 barrels per day.
The East-West pipeline, crucial for transporting crude from eastern fields to the Red Sea port of Yanbu, allows Saudi Aramco to bypass the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing regional tensions. While repairs at the Khurais field are still underway, the ministry plans to issue a separate update once full production is resumed there.
