The Satoshi Nakamoto statue in Lugano, Switzerland, has been vandalized for the second time, with its steel structure bent and destroyed. The Lugano Satoshi Museum commented on the incident, stating, "You can bend steel, but you cannot distort its meaning." The statue, crafted by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, was initially unveiled in October 2024 in Parco Ciani. It first suffered vandalism during Switzerland's National Day in August last year, when it was dismantled and thrown into Lake Lugano. After recovery and restoration, it was reinstalled in October 2025.
