Openbank, part of the Santander Group, has introduced cryptocurrency trading services for retail customers in Germany. The platform supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Polygon, and Cardano, with plans to add more tokens soon. Openbank aims to extend this service to Spanish customers in the coming weeks. The service charges a transaction fee of 1.49%, with a minimum fee of €1 per transaction, and no custody fees. Additionally, Santander is preparing to issue a stablecoin.
