Samsung Wallet has introduced stablecoin accounts for eligible Galaxy users in the United States, supporting USDC on the Solana blockchain across approximately 82 million compatible devices. The service was developed in partnership with custodian Bastion and Coinbase, offering fee-free transfers and bank account withdrawals in over 60 countries.
Credit card top-ups incur a 4% fee, and the service is currently unavailable in New York State. Samsung plans to further explore stablecoin payments and other market applications in the future.
