FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has reactivated his social media presence after a six-month hiatus, as he seeks to appeal his 25-year sentence for fraud and conspiracy. Bankman-Fried's legal team claims the trial was biased and evidence was suppressed. His mother, Barbara Fried, has also released a 65-page essay defending him. In addition to pursuing legal appeals, Bankman-Fried's associates are reportedly lobbying for a presidential pardon from Trump, following recent pardons of other crypto figures. The White House has not commented on any formal pardon request from Bankman-Fried.
