The flagship model, Fugu Ultra, orchestrates multiple large language models to tackle complex multi-step tasks, achieving performance comparable to leading models in coding, scientific research, and reasoning benchmarks. Sakana AI highlights that Fugu is designed to reduce dependency on a single AI vendor, enhancing performance and AI sovereignty, and is ideal for high-complexity applications such as research, code review, cybersecurity, and patent analysis.
