The victim, identified by initials AI, was stopped by two masked assailants while riding his motorcycle. He was restrained, blindfolded, and taken to a house where he was held for 30 hours and subjected to physical violence. The kidnappers forced him to reveal his crypto account passwords and stole his mobile phones to access further accounts.
The incident occurred on July 4, when the victim was eventually released near Udayana University Hospital in Jimbaran, where he received medical treatment. Bali police have confirmed the incident and are actively investigating to apprehend the suspects involved.
