Russian authorities have detained a man from Kaspiysk, Dagestan, on charges of using social media to solicit cryptocurrency donations while residing in Turkey from October 2022 to October 2023. The man allegedly collected approximately $6,500 worth of cryptocurrency, which was then transferred to illegal armed groups for purchasing weapons and ammunition. The Federal Security Service (FSB) has initiated a case for "assisting a terrorist organization," and the suspect is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
