Russian cryptocurrency exchange Grinex has reported a cyberattack resulting in a loss of approximately 1 billion rubles ($13 million). The exchange has suspended trading services and indicated that the attack may involve "foreign special services." The incident has been handed over to law enforcement for investigation. On-chain data reveals that around $15 million in USDT was moved from the platform and converted into ETH or TRX. Grinex has previously been linked to Garantex, an exchange seized by U.S. authorities.
