The round saw participation from S32, Anthology Fund, Menlo Ventures, Conviction, and Elad Gil, along with angel investors such as Nikesh Arora, Amit Agarwal, and Jeff Dean. Notable contributors also include founders and executives from OpenAI, Palo Alto Networks, Stripe, and Google. RunSybil, co-founded in 2023 by Ari Herbert-Voss and Vlad Ionescu, offers an AI agent named Sybil that autonomously conducts penetration testing on live applications. This technology identifies, exploits, and documents security vulnerabilities without human intervention, positioning RunSybil as a leader in AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.
