A recent RPC-spoofing attack has exposed vulnerabilities in blockchain communication systems. RPC, a critical component for off-chain and on-chain communication, typically uses HTTPS or WSS protocols to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. However, if the server hosting the RPC is compromised, attackers can hijack and spoof communications, posing significant security risks to blockchain networks.
