Robinhood Securities has been named as an underwriter in smart ring maker Oura’s initial public offering filing, marking its first formal role as an IPO underwriter.
Oura has applied to list on Nasdaq under the ticker “OURA,” with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC serving as lead underwriter. The syndicate also includes Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan Securities, BofA Securities, Barclays, Wells Fargo Securities, and Robinhood Securities. The offering size and price have not yet been determined.
The role could give Robinhood Securities greater influence over Oura share allocations to its platform clients, but it does not guarantee allocations for users. Robinhood’s prior IPO Access program typically acted only as a selling group member rather than participating directly in underwriting tasks such as issuer pricing.
