Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said tokenization can give users worldwide access to high-quality financial assets by bringing the advantages of the U.S. capital market to global users. Tenev said the tokenization industry remains small compared with global finance, but its advantages are becoming harder to ignore. He noted that traditional market infrastructure was not designed for 24/7 trading, programmable assets, composability, or self-custody, and said investor needs are changing faster than infrastructure upgrades.
