Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev announced at Token 2049 Singapore that while real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is inevitable, its adoption lags behind that of stablecoins. Tenev pointed out that only a small fraction of people currently hold RWA assets. In response to this gap, Robinhood has launched around 200 stock tokenization products since their introduction in France this summer, aiming to expand access to equity investments through blockchain technology.
