Ripple has introduced Ripple Treasury, a revamped corporate treasury management service, following its $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury. The service offers optional cryptocurrency features, allowing clients to choose whether to integrate digital assets into their treasury operations. GTreasury CEO Renaat Ver Eecke emphasized that the platform will not force crypto adoption, addressing client skepticism about digital assets. Ver Eecke highlighted the potential benefits of blockchain technology, such as faster settlement times and improved cash management, while maintaining that these features remain optional. The company plans to offer "tech credits" to encourage crypto exploration among interested clients. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse previously stated that blockchain could address inefficiencies in traditional money management systems.
