Ripple Custody has added support for the Canton Network, enabling institutions to hold and transfer Canton assets within its existing custody platform, policy engine, and audit trail system. The integration covers Canton Coin (CC) and CIP-56 tokens, expanding institutional access to enterprise blockchain assets under unified custody infrastructure. Signing keys remain stored in customers' own HSMs or KMSs to maintain security standards, with access currently limited to API connectivity. This update allows institutional clients to manage Canton Network assets alongside other digital holdings without requiring separate custody solutions or compromising key management protocols.
