Richard Heart, founder of HEX and PulseChain, has reportedly raised over $410 million for his new protocol, ProveX, through a fundraising event termed "Sacrifice." However, Arkham analyst Emmett Gallic alleges that approximately $400 million of this amount, equivalent to about 120,000 ETH, originated from Heart himself, using Tornado Cash to launder the funds.
Gallic claims that these ETH funds were initially linked to PulseChain-related addresses, which were funneled through Tornado Cash and subsequently distributed across more than 950 addresses before entering the ProveX Sacrifice. Due to a decline in ETH prices, this portion of ETH has reportedly incurred a paper loss of approximately $280 million since its initial deposit into Tornado Cash.
