RetoSwap has suspended trading after the Haveno protocol was attacked, as reported on June 17th. The team received an alert at 2:02 AM Beijing time and responded by upgrading the minimum client version to 2.0.0 and blocking the attacker's onion address. The attack targeted the Haveno protocol, not RetoSwap directly, and primarily affected large cryptocurrency orders, leaving fiat currency traders unaffected.
RetoSwap is currently assessing solutions to assist affected traders in recovering their losses. Trading will resume once the protocol is secured. This incident follows a previous report on May 21, where RetoSwap incurred a $2.7 million loss due to a similar vulnerability in the Haveno protocol.
