Renzo Protocol has rebranded as Renzo Finance and expanded into on-chain structured yield products, with its first product, Renzo Basis, launching on Hyperliquid. Renzo Basis automates a basis trading strategy by holding spot long positions and perpetual futures shorts, allowing users to earn returns from funding rates. The product will initially support BTC and HYPE, with plans to add all Hyperliquid assets that have both spot and perpetual markets. Founder Lucas Kozinski said the product is fully on-chain, self-custodial and customizable, enabling users to choose assets and risk parameters. Renzo also plans to expand to Lighter on Robinhood for on-chain stock perpetual basis trading and is testing other structured products including auto-redeem and growth notes.
