Dutch payroll provider Remote has reported a 50% increase in revenue per employee following the integration of AI across its operations. The company, which has surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue and achieved positive cash flow, attributes this growth to the widespread adoption of AI tools by employees in various roles. Remote's CEO, Job van der Voort, highlighted that AI is used to develop applications, organize content, and streamline processes, enhancing productivity without increasing headcount. Remote has also launched Remote Labs, an internal app marketplace, and Remote Build, a service to help clients create customized workflows. The company is advancing AI usage to improve customer service and product offerings, including the new Remote MCP interface for secure data access. Despite the increased reliance on AI, Remote is not laying off employees but is focusing on training and investing in AI tools to further boost efficiency and revenue.
