Real Finance, a network focused on the tokenization of Real-World Assets (RWA), has raised $29 million in private funding to enhance its infrastructure. The funding round was led by Nimbus Capital, contributing $25 million, with additional investments from Magnus Capital and Frekaz Group. The capital will be used to bolster compliance and operational capabilities as Real Finance aims to tokenize $500 million in RWAs, targeting 2% of the current market. The RWA market is currently dominated by US Treasury products, private credit, and institutional alternative funds, with rapid growth in tokenized money market funds and other asset types. Industry experts anticipate further expansion in the sector as regulatory clarity improves.
