Purrlend has suffered a security breach on its HyperEVM and MegaETH platforms, leading to losses of approximately $1.52 million. The attacker exploited the team's 2/3 multisig admin wallet, granting malicious permissions and using mintUnbacked to create unbacked pUSDm and pUSDC. These were then used as collateral to borrow assets from the lending pool.
In response, Purrlend has paused its protocol and revoked the compromised permissions. The company is collaborating with security teams, law enforcement, and cross-chain bridge partners to track and recover the stolen funds.
