Lending protocol Purrlend has suffered a significant security breach, resulting in a total loss of approximately $1.52 million across the MegaETH and HyperEVM networks. The attacker extracted around $1.2 million from HyperEVM, including 449,700 USDC, 214,100 USDT0, and 194,700 USDH, among other assets. An additional $324,000 was withdrawn from MegaETH, involving USDT0, WETH, and USDm. In response to the attack, Purrlend has paused its operations and launched an investigation. The attacker's address has been identified on the block explorers of both affected networks, aiding in the ongoing investigation efforts.
