Pump.fun has revised its fee structure to prevent manipulation in token issuance, as announced by co-founder Alon on the X platform. The update addresses previous issues where Coin Admins could alter fee recipients and distribution methods, allowing creators to redirect fees back to themselves after tokens gained popularity. Under the new system, all tokens will default to a standard creator fee, with creators having only one chance to redirect fees to another wallet before settings are locked. Existing tokens with allocated fees will have their fees locked, while those with standard fees will have one opportunity to change them.
