Public companies increased their Bitcoin holdings by 50,351 BTC in the first quarter of 2026, according to a report by Bitwise Asset Management. This brings the total holdings to approximately 1.15 million BTC, representing about 5.47% of the total Bitcoin supply. Despite the increase in holdings, the number of companies holding Bitcoin decreased by about 2% to 187 during the same period.
