Prometheum has introduced its Digital Brokerage Solutions, aiming to integrate tokenized securities into traditional financial systems. The New York-based firm offers a suite of services including clearing, custody, and trading, enabling broker-dealers to offer crypto assets through existing brokerage accounts. This move seeks to bridge the gap between blockchain-based assets and regulated securities markets. Co-CEO Aaron Kaplan emphasized the importance of distribution channels, stating that while tokenization has been achieved, mainstream investor access remains limited. Prometheum's platform supports the full lifecycle of blockchain-based securities and operates within a regulated framework, allowing traditional financial firms to compete with crypto exchanges while maintaining investor protections. The company anticipates further onboarding of broker-dealers and RIAs as demand for regulated digital asset infrastructure grows.
