Zcash's shielded pools already enhance privacy by concealing public keys and transaction metadata from the ledger during transactions. However, Project Tachyon takes privacy a step further by implementing Oblivious Synchronization, which completely removes ciphertexts from the blockchain. This advancement ensures that no sensitive data remains on the ledger, significantly reducing the risk of data harvesting.
