ProCap Financial said it sold about 50 BTC and used the proceeds to repurchase more than 2% of its outstanding shares at a price roughly 40% below net asset value. The company said cumulative buybacks now represent about 10% of outstanding shares since the repurchase program began.
As of the close on September 2, ProCap Financial held about 5,305 BTC. The company said it will continue evaluating additional share repurchases when its stock trades at a significant discount to net asset value.
