The Laguna XS.2, Poolside's first open-weight model, features 33 billion parameters with 3 billion activated parameters. It utilizes a Mixture of Experts (MoE) architecture, optimized for agent coding and long-horizon tasks. Notably, the model was developed entirely on internal infrastructure and is capable of running on a single GPU. Both models are released under the Apache 2.0 license, promoting open collaboration and innovation in the AI community.
