Polygon has overtaken Solana in USDC transaction activity, recording 28 million weekly transactions, according to data analyst Peter. This marks a new high for Polygon, surpassing Solana's 22 million transactions and making it the most active USDC chain. Overall, USDC transfers on Polygon reached 103 million, capturing 46% of the market share. In USD stablecoin transactions, Polygon saw a 67% increase to 32.6 million, just 600,000 behind Solana, and processed 120 million USD stablecoin transfers, surpassing BNB for the first time. In other developments, Polygon's x402 weekly native transfer volume hit $1.2 million with 358,000 transactions, leading all chains. The network has also joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance and will offer USDC tax refund services at major Italian airports during the 2026 Winter Olympics. Additionally, Polygon has proposed PIP 82 to recover up to $1 million in gas base fees to support agent commercial activities.
