Eugene Y. Q. Shen, co-founder of Plume and a pivotal figure in the tokenization of $4 billion in real-world assets, has passed away. The RWA platform announced Shen's death, expressing profound sorrow and describing him as a 'dear friend' and key contributor. Shen, who joined Plume in January 2024 alongside Chris Yin and Teddy Pornprinya, was instrumental in the firm's success in bringing renewable energy and government bonds on-chain. Plume is currently taking time to grieve the loss of Shen, who was known for his brilliance and dedication.
