Piggycell, a dominant player in South Korea's shared power bank market, announced plans to integrate its offline charging network with blockchain technology. This move will tokenize charging activities, allowing NFT holders to earn passive income. With over 14,000 locations and 4 million users, Piggycell aims to transform charging actions into tradable digital assets. The initiative will feature mechanisms like Charge-to-Earn, Occupy-to-Earn, and Challenge-to-Earn, enabling community members to benefit from real cash flows. Backed by investments from Animoca and DWF, Piggycell plans to complete its Token Generation Event (TGE) in Q4 and list on major exchanges.
