Pi Network founders Chengdiao Fan and Nicolas Kokkalis presented their vision for integrating artificial intelligence and secure digital identities at Consensus 2026. Addressing over 20,000 attendees, Fan highlighted the potential of Pi's 50 million KYC-verified users to develop AI-driven applications. Kokkalis emphasized the importance of secure digital identities that maintain user privacy. Since launching its mainnet in February 2025, Pi Network has activated over 10 billion PI tokens and is set to introduce smart contracts with Protocol 23, aiming to enhance real-world applications and ecosystem growth.
