Perpetual decentralized exchanges (Perp DEXs) recorded a trading volume of over $67 billion on September 24, marking a new all-time high for the second consecutive day, according to the BNB Chain dashboard. Leading the surge, Aster, Lighter, and Hyperliquid each surpassed $10 billion in daily trading volume.
In addition to Hyperliquid, other Perp DEXs such as Aster, Lighter, edgeX, and Paradex, which reported daily volumes exceeding $1 billion, experienced a significant increase in their 7-day average volumes, rising by at least 80%. This substantial growth has raised concerns about potential wash trading activities within these platforms.
