PC GOLD, an Australian gold exploration project backed by Asteroid X, has officially listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under the ticker PC2. This marks a significant milestone as one of the first real-world asset (RWA) projects incubated by the Web3 mining finance platform. The project previously launched a PC GOLD NFT series, which tokenizes shares in the company to digitally represent physical mining assets. Asteroid X co-founder Ben highlighted the listing as a deep integration of traditional mining with Web3 finance, underscoring the potential of blockchain technology in real asset tokenization. Asteroid X's entity, Web3in Tech-Lab, has secured Australia's IRD and DCE licenses, allowing it to offer comprehensive RWA services, including asset tokenization and compliant trade settlement.
