Pacifica, an on-chain perpetual derivatives platform on Solana, has launched a one-month online hackathon with $15,000 in cash prizes. The event, running from March 16 to April 16, invites developers, quantitative analysts, and builders to create applications using Pacifica's perpetual contracts infrastructure. Participants can compete individually or in teams of up to five. The hackathon features four tracks: Trading Applications and Bots, Analysis and Data, Social and Gamification, and DeFi Composability. The grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and 25,000 points, with additional awards for category winners and special recognitions for innovation and user experience. The event culminates in a Demo Day, where participants will present their projects.
