OWASP has published its 2026 list of the Top 10 vulnerabilities in smart contracts, highlighting key security concerns in the blockchain space. The list includes access control vulnerabilities, business logic flaws, price oracle manipulation, flash loan-assisted attacks, lack of input validation, unchecked external calls, arithmetic errors, reentrancy attacks, integer overflow/underflow, and proxy and upgradeability vulnerabilities. The report emphasizes that complex attacks often exploit multiple vulnerabilities in combination. With the rapid advancement of AI, both attackers and defenders face new challenges. It is anticipated that as security infrastructure matures, the prevalence of some traditional issues may decrease, while new attack methods could emerge.
