As of August 5, 10,810 investors on South Korea's five major won-trading exchanges hold virtual assets exceeding 1 billion won, or approximately $710,000, with an average holding of 2.229 billion won ($1.59 million). This is 200 times higher than the average holding of 10.27 million won among 10,866,371 users on these exchanges. Notably, 76% of these high-value investors are Upbit users. The largest group of investors with over 1 billion won in assets are in their 50s, followed by those in their 40s, over 60s, and 30s. Despite having fewer investors in their 20s, this age group holds the highest average amount per person at 2.68871 billion won.
