Optimum has introduced mump2p, a block propagation solution for Ethereum validators designed to reduce latency and improve predictability. The technology is built on RLNC (Random Linear Network Coding), co-invented at MIT by Optimum CEO and Co-Founder Muriel Médard.
The company states that faster, more predictable block propagation helps validators avoid missing deadlines, allows more time to build better blocks, and can result in higher APY. Node operators can onboard the service for free.
