The OpenMind Robot Project has launched its app store on the App Store, marking the first cross-ontology robot app store based on the OM1 open-source operating system. This platform allows developers to publish applications and skills centrally, enabling robot owners to deploy new functionalities with ease. The initial batch of applications, launched last week, targets sectors such as education, healthcare, elderly companionship, and home security. Key partners include UBTech, Zhiyuan Robotics, and Fourier Intelligence. In a related development, the OpenMind Foundation's Fabric Foundation conducted a token sale on January 26 via the Kaito platform. The sale, which prioritized the Fabric community and specific partner communities, was oversubscribed within five hours, highlighting strong demand for the tokens.
